Methodology

How it works

  1. 1
    Universe

Start from the Nifty LargeMidCap 250, filtered to stocks priced under ₹5,000. The equity sleeve sits inside a multi asset frame with debt.

  2. 2
    Rank

Score every stock in the universe by a momentum composite: price trend over several look backs, risk adjusted. The top names by score become the candidate list.

  3. 3
    Select

Hold the top 41 equity names plus the fixed debt sleeve. Equity is equal weighted within its sleeve; the sleeve weights are fixed.

  4. 4
    Rebalance

Every 2 weeks the model runs again end to end. Names that fall out of the top 41 are sold; new entrants are bought. The full list is published at every rebalance.

Why Large Mid Hybrid

A bright family office meeting room with the RupeeCase Allcap strategy on the wall screen
A strategy on the meeting room screen, sample data

The simpler equity-plus-debt sibling of Large Mid Multi Asset. Same 40-stock equity sleeve, same LargeMidCap 250 universe, same 2-week rebalance, but the 10% gold sleeve is folded into debt for a 20% LiquidCase cushion.

The equity engine is identical to the multi-asset twin. The difference is what the cushion is made of: all debt, no gold. Debt earns steadily in every regime and hedges nothing. Gold hedges some regimes and earns nothing in others. This card picks the first trade.

What you save: a simpler profile with no commodity holding, and one fewer position to track.

This is for an investor who explicitly does not want gold exposure. The structural ride is similar to the multi-asset twin and the LargeMidCap 250 universe is preserved.

Key takeaways
  • LargeMidCap 250 momentum with an 80/20 equity-plus-debt overlay
  • A 20% LiquidCase cushion, no gold complexity
  • Same equity engine as the multi-asset twin, one fewer moving part
  • The same LargeMidCap 250 universe, the commodity dropped

A description of the strategy, not a recommendation. Decide your own allocation, or ask a SEBI registered investment adviser.

Who it is written for

Investors who want a balanced equity tilt with a built-in volatility cushion
Capital
About ₹2,49,000, one share of every holding at recent prices. More capital buys more of each holding and tracks the model weights more closely.

How the rule was built

Machine learning is used in research to search and optimise the model behind each strategy: which signals rank the universe, how many names to hold and how often to rebalance, tested out of sample. The rule that ships is then frozen and published, so the live strategy is a fixed, readable algorithm, not a black box that changes on its own.
