02How a rebalance works

Rule reruns, ranking moves, orders, logged in public.

  • 1. Rule reruns
On the published schedule (weekly to monthly) the index algo scores its NSE universe again on momentum and risk measures.
  • 2. Ranking moves
Names that fall out of the top ranks leave; names that rank in enter. Most of the list stays. Multi asset algos also set their ETF sleeves.
  • 3. Orders to your broker
The trades land in your own broker account for approval. Shares stay in your demat; RupeeCase never holds money.
  • 4. Logged in public
The full list is published with the date, which is the record these pages show. The fee is 0.2% of the value traded; nothing changes, nothing charged.

03Questions

Rebalances, in plain words

What is a rebalance?

The day an index algo reruns its published rule: names that rank out leave the list, names that rank in enter, and the full list is published with the date. Orders go to your own broker; you approve them and the shares sit in your own demat.

How much does a rebalance cost?

0.2% of the value traded, nothing on the names that stay and nothing when nothing changes. No subscription, AUM fee or performance fee. Each history page shows the illustrative fee per cycle on ₹1,00,000.

Can I download the rebalance history?

Yes. Every history page links its CSV (every published list with its date) and a JSON file, free to reuse under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to RupeeCase. The files carry names and dates; lists are equal weighted at the stock level, so weights follow from the count.

Is this the live record?

No. These are the published, back tested model records. Record to 3 Jul 2026; the latest list dates differ by index algo and are printed on every page.
