03How a stock gets in

Screen, rank, hold, rebalance.

  • Screen
Each index algo starts from a published NSE universe (Nifty 50, LargeMidcap 250, Total Market and others) and a price cap, then scores every name on momentum and risk measures.
  • Rank and hold
The top names make the list at equal weight: 5, 10, 20 or 50 depending on the algo. Multi asset algos add gold, liquid or debt ETF sleeves beside the equity names.
  • Rebalance
On the schedule (weekly to monthly) the screen reruns. Names that rank out leave, names that rank in enter, and the full list is published. The fee is 0.2% of the value traded, nothing on what stays.

04Questions

Stocks, in plain words

Which stocks do RupeeCase index algos hold?

The 18 index algos name 242 stocks on their latest published lists (record to 3 jul 2026), across 21 NSE sectors. This hub lists every one of them, plus the Nifty 50 constituents as reference pages, with the count of lists each stock is on. Each stock page shows which lists hold it and every entry and exit since May 2021.

How does a stock get on a list?

Each index algo runs a published screen over its NSE universe on a set schedule, ranks the names on momentum and risk measures, and takes the top names at equal weight. A stock enters when it ranks in and leaves when it ranks out; nobody adds or removes a name by hand.

Are these recommendations?

No. The lists are the back tested model record of rules based index algos, published for transparency. Nothing here is a view on any company, a price target or advice; investments in securities markets are subject to market risks.

Why is there no price on these pages?

RupeeCase publishes rules, lists and rebalance dates, not quotes. The pages carry membership and sector data only; prices and fundamentals are on the exchange and your broker.
