Methodology

How it works

  1. 1
    Universe

Start from the Nifty 100, filtered to stocks priced under ₹5,000. The equity sleeve sits inside a multi asset frame with debt and gold.

  2. 2
    Rank

Score every stock in the universe by a momentum composite: price trend over several look backs, risk adjusted. The top names by score become the candidate list.

  3. 3
    Select

Hold the top 22 equity names plus the fixed debt and gold sleeve. Equity is equal weighted within its sleeve; the sleeve weights are fixed.

  4. 4
    Rebalance

Every 4 weeks the model runs again end to end. Names that fall out of the top 22 are sold; new entrants are bought. The full list is published at every rebalance.

Why Large Cap Multi Asset

Hands typing on a laptop in an office, the screen showing the RupeeCase compare view of Allcap against Dynamic Asset Allocator, growth of 100, model
Comparing strategies, sample data

20 stocks from the Nifty 100, equal-weighted, plus 10% LiquidCase debt and 10% GoldBees. Rebalance every 4 weeks. The overlay is the point: debt and gold pull in different directions from equity, so the whole package rides more quietly than the equity sleeve alone.

The equity engine is the same momentum screen the pure-equity cards run, just wrapped. Twenty names from the Nifty 100, equal weight, re-screened every 4 weeks. The wrapper does not slow the engine down. It catches some of what falls off.

The 4-week rebalance is the cost-saver. The gold sleeve is a separate asset that does not move with the equity sleeve.

Against the pure-equity twin Focused Largecap 20, the overlay trades a slice of equity upside for a softer ride. Same stocks, same cadence, 20% less equity exposure. This suits moderately aggressive investors who want the diversification cushion without giving up most of the equity engine.

Key takeaways
  • Largecap momentum on Nifty 100 with 80/10/10 multi-asset overlay
  • Debt and gold sleeves cushion what the equity sleeve takes in full
  • 4-week cadence keeps turnover and cost low
  • 20% less equity than its pure-equity twin, Focused Largecap 20

Who it is written for

Written for
Investors who want growth but read a 25% drawdown as opportunity, not panic
Capital
About ₹1,25,000, one share of every holding at recent prices. More capital buys more of each holding and tracks the model weights more closely.

How the rule was built

Machine learning is used in research to search and optimise the model behind each strategy: which signals rank the universe, how many names to hold and how often to rebalance, tested out of sample. The rule that ships is then frozen and published, so the live strategy is a fixed, readable algorithm, not a black box that changes on its own.
