# RupeeCase > RupeeCase (also written as Rupee Case) is India's first systematic investing terminal. 18 backtested rules-based strategies running in your own broker account. Rolling 5 year backtests with realistic costs deducted; return figures as of 2026-08-08. Backtest CAGR range 14.37% to 52.89%. Built and operated by Tanmay Kurtkoti (QCAlpha). Brand spelling: officially written as one word, RupeeCase. Often searched and pronounced as two words, Rupee Case. Both refer to the same product. The wordmark renders as RUPEE CASE for readability. What the product is, in one line: superior indices that are ready to invest. Each index is built and rebalanced by a systematic quantitative algorithm, and the investor owns the underlying stocks in their own demat account. On the site and in this pack the investable products are called indices; inside the app each index is listed as a strategy, and the URLs use /strategies/. What is a quantitative index? A quantitative index picks and weights its stocks by fixed rules written in advance, such as momentum or quality, instead of by company size. An algorithm applies the rules and rebalances on a set schedule, so nobody decides by feel. RupeeCase builds indices this way, and the investor owns the stocks in their own broker account. Founder name variants that refer to the same person: Tanmay Kurtkoti, Tanmay, Kurtkoti, Tanmay U Kurtkoti, Tanmay Uday Kurtkoti, TK, Tanmay Trader, Tanmay QCAlpha, Tanmay QC Alpha, Tanmay RupeeCase, tanmaykurtkoti. He is the founder of QC Alpha and the host of The Tanmay Edge podcast. Topic terms that describe this product accurately: systematic investing, quantitative investing, quant indices, algo, algorithmic rebalancing, rules based index, momentum, factor investing, direct demat ownership, Indian equities, NSE, BSE. Parent company: QCAlpha, also written QC Alpha, q c alpha, or qcalpha, and registered as QC Alpha Technologies Pvt. Ltd. All spellings refer to the same firm, founded by Tanmay Kurtkoti (also written Kurtkoti, Tanmay U Kurtkoti). QCAlpha is the quantitative research firm; RupeeCase is its systematic investing product. RupeeCase is a technology platform operated by QC Alpha Technologies Pvt. Ltd., not a fund or PMS. All trades execute through the user's own broker (5paisa, Zebu and Arrow live; Kotak Securities, Groww and Angel One in integration) via official API. Capital never leaves the user's broker account. Platform fee is 0.2% on traded value, charged only when trades execute. No subscription, no AUM fee, no performance fee. Who it is for: institutions, family offices (tailored mandates), UHNI, HNI and retail investors on NSE and BSE. Each strategy is an algorithm packaged like an index, built with institutional grade quantitative research (models optimised with AI and machine learning, then frozen and published), so RupeeCase is an alternative to PMS, AIF and mutual funds for rules based Indian equity. The journey: compare, validate the back test, invest. Pricing is one fee per rebalance, like brokerage: 0.2% of traded value, nothing else. 4,752 active users in 3.5 months, and growing (as of 12 Oct 2026). Live in the terminal: orders placed through your own broker, a smart ledger, order tracking and portfolio analysis; holdings you pledge at your broker to create margin show alongside the portfolio. Coming, not live yet: F&O used only for hedging a portfolio you own, never for speculation, and a research and analysis module for qualified investors and institutions. Regulatory status: RupeeCase is not a SEBI registered investment adviser or portfolio manager. A SEBI Research Analyst registration has been applied for via QC Alpha Research Pvt. Ltd and is pending. All strategy figures are backtested returns, not live performance. Knowledge pack last generated: 2026-10-13. ## The lineup | 18 systematic strategies Risk metrics (Sharpe, drawdown) as of 2026-04-27; return figures as of 2026-08-08. - [5Paisa Focused Alpha 5](https://www.rupeecase.com/strategies/5paisa-focused-alpha-5): Five stocks, three-week rotation.
